Our flagship wine. A blend of two clones of Cabernet Sauvignon, one an isolate of the Houghton’s clone and one a descendent from Margaux in Bordeaux.
Open top and barrel fermentation | Hand plunged | Manually basket pressed | Matured in 50% new French oak for 18 months.
The best 8 barrels from each vintage go into this blend.

"This is an excellent wine. It is a blend of largely cabernet with smaller contributions from Malbec and Petit Verdot. It is seamless with the generosity of the fruit cascading over the fine thread of oak and tannin. Plush black fruits with some nice darker plum and black olive influences. Has a bright and very lively palate that bursts through to a long finish."
