The Queen of Margaret River, our Gin Gin Clone chardonnay reveals savoury aromas of almond, orange blossom, marzipan and lemon meringue pie. The palate is moreish with white peach, dried pear and citrus encased with well balanced and thoughtful use of French Oak. Our maritime influence is reflected with hints of oyster shell lingering. Full alluring, long lasting and delicious.
Winemaking
Whole bunch pressed and barrel fermented in 70% French (57% new) and 30% concrete egg. 100% wild yeast fermentation and 30% wild malolactic fermentation. Maturation in oak for 11 months.
