Tasting Note
Lifted aromatics of plum, boysenberry and mulberry with background notes of cedary oak. The ripe and rich palate of dark forest fruits is supported with fine grained tannin and acid giving the wine plenty of life to create a long lasting palate.
Winemaking
Dry grown and crop thinned to produce the best fruit before being hand picked. Hand plunged four times daily during open top ferment. 10% juice drain off to concentrate tannins. Manually basket pressed. Aged in French oak (25% new) for 14 months. Our Malbec is unfiltered.
