2016 Queen Bee Blanc de Blancs Magnum
Pale straw in colour. Lemon Peel, creamed honey and subtle hints of white peach on the palate. Delicate, toasty and perfectly in balance.
In 2016 we hand harvested only the finest parcels of Chardonnay. This delicate wine underwent its first ferment in second-year French oak barrel where it aged for 12 months. Second ferment occurs inside the 1.5L bottle. Aged on yeast lees for 3.5 years before being riddled, disgorged and dosaged. So complex. We only make 100 magnums each vintage.
10 years (but it’s pretty damn delicious now)
Best served with a bunch of your mates over lemon coconut slice.
