2019 “Dead Man’s Hand” Shiraz
Lifted aromatics of eucalyptus backed by luscious ripe cherries. Dried satsuma plum and dark chocolate characteristics give way to chalky tannin. Bold and dramatic yet velvety smooth.
Hand picked Shiraz berries fermented on stalks in 1 tonne open top fermenters. Hand plunging and manually basket pressing were utilised. Matured on fine French oak for 18 months, 25% new oak.
Barbequed lamb loins chops for this shiraz!
